Green Mountain is one of my favorite proving grounds, and a fantastic benchmark for climbing fitness at threshold. It is also a beautiful trail with spectacular views from the summit. Some days I go to Green to trash my legs and try to make myself vomit from exertion by the summit, a roughly ~40 minute or so climb. This wasn't one of those days. Ms Matwijiw joined me for a comfortable jaunt up and over our mountain through Chautauqua on a perfect winter day.
